Slow day again, I won’t be posting much today due to it being Thanksgiving.  Keep refreshing this thread all to for up-to-the minute updates, Happy Thanksgiving!

Columbus Blue Jackets:

  • Steve Mason starting against the Senators per Tom Reed of The Columbus Dispatch.  In a disappointing season, the Calder Trophy winner is 8-5-3 with a 3.59 GAA and .885 SV% in 17 games.

Ottawa Senators:

  • Brian Elliot starting.
  • Alexei Kovalev back in the lineup, Mike Fisher still hurt. [Ottawa Citizen]

Los Angeles Kings:

  • Andrei Loktionov officially out with a separated shoulder. [LA Kings Insider]
  • Top prospect Braydon Schenn makes his NHL debut.
  • Rob Scuderi and Jared Stoll still out with injuries.
  • Coach Terry Murray is undecided over whether to start backup Erik Ersberg or started Jon Quick.  The game is not until 10 PM EST so I will be back on post-Thanksgiving supper. [LA Times]

Vancouver Canucks:

  • Roberto Luongo expected to start according to this feature article by Gordon McIntyre of The Province.  The 30-year-old is 8-8-0 with one shutout, a 2.54 GAA and .908 SV%.

  • Lightning Strike’s Damian Christodero recently wrote “Niittymaki will keep playing until the coaching staff thinks his game takes a dip. Then it’s on to Smith and we see what he can do with his chance.” Going by that statement, Antero Niittymaki will start considering he remains in the league leaders in GAA.

  • No word yet, but Chris Osgood and Nikolai Khabibulin are likely for tonight.  More updates to come/links to confirm.

  • Jon Quick is starting in net tonight and will continue there for the foreseeable future according to Rich Hammond.  Hammond recently sat down with coach Terry Murray about the team’s goalie  situation.  Click here for the full Q & A.
  • Henrik Lundqvist is a guarantee to be in net tonight seeing as it is a division rival.  Steve Valiquette‘s effort against San Jose certainly did not help his cause…

  • Tarik El-Bashir believes Semyon Varlamov will play again tonight against the Thrashers.  He mentions the injury to Jose Theodore here, noting that he will backup despite being ready to return.
  • This feature entry here by Tom Gulitti of Fire & Ice implies Martin Brodeur starting tonight.
  • Aaron Portzline of Puck-rakers reports here that Mathieu Garon will start tonight against his former team.
  • As previously mentioned, Alex Auld will start in goal tonight against the Kings.  Mike Heika mentions this at the end of his entry here.
