Boston Bruins v Philadelphia Flyers

This thread will be updated all day, so keep refreshing it as the day goes along. Just a quick note, if I omitted a source it is due to a previous report with no recent updates. Here are your injury updates for tonight:

Injuries Tonight

New York Rangers

  • No injuries but Wade Redden and Ales Kotalik remain healthy scratches.

Philadelphia Flyers

  • Simon Gagne returns. [Broad Street Bull]
  • Darroll Powe and Ray Emery remain injured.

Detroit Red Wings

  • Darren Helm back in.
  • Henrik Zetterberg, Jason Williams, Andreas Lilja, Niklas Kronwall, Daniel Cleary, Valtteri Filppula, Johan Franzen and Jonathan Ericsson still out.

Dallas Stars

Nashville Predators

  • Jordan Tootoo out for another couple of weeks.

Calgary Flames

  • Cory Sarich still out.

Phoenix Coyotes

  • Kurt Sauer still out, with no timetable on his return.

Anaheim Ducks

  • Teemu Selanne began skating.  Ryan Carter should skate next week. [Ducks Blog]
  • Joffrey Lupul out for another month or so following back surgery.

Boston Bruins

  • Milan Lucic and Mark Stuart remain in IR.
  • No word on hurt defenseman Dennis Wideman, not a good sign.

Toronto Maple Leafs

  • Jonas Gustavsson set to start tonight.
  • John Mitchell, Carl Gunnarson and Mike Van Ryn remain injured.

Minnesota Wild

  • Robbie Earl out. [Michael Russo]
  • Eric Belanger and Michael Russo also have with flu. [Michael Russo]
  • Injury/Equipment rundown here.
  • Andrew Ebbett back in while Brent Burns, Petr Sykora, Owen Nolan and Pierre-Marc Bouchard out.
  • Guillaume Latendresse likely out. [Michael Russo]

Ottawa Senators

  • Jason Spezza, Shean Donovan, Nick Foligno, Chris Neil and Pascal Leclaire out.

Florida Panthers

  • Dmitry Kulikov out, Bryan Allen back in.
  • Kamil Kreps, Nick Tarnasky, David Booth and Cory Stillman remain injured.

Carolina Hurricanes

  • Tim Gleason and Niclas Wallin expected back in the lineup. [Canes Now]
  • Eric Cole, Chad LaRose and Joe Corvo out.

Montreal Canadiens

  • Andrei Markov and Paul Mara in the lineup.  Roman Hamrlik still out. [Habs Inside/Out]
  • Brian Gionta remains out.

New York Islanders

  • Sean Bergenheim, Tim Jackman, Rick DiPietro, Doug Weight and Radek Martinek still out.

New Jersey Devils

  • Dainius Zubrus, David Clarkson and Paul Martin not expected to play.

Atlanta Thrashers

  • Bryan Little and Anssi Salmela healthy but scratched. [Dan Kamal]
  • Kari Lehtonen and Mark Popovic remain injured.
  • Lehtonen began skating. [Blueland Blog]

Pittsburgh Penguins

  • No known injuries.

Buffalo Sabres

  • Patrick Kaleta wants to play.  Thomas Vanek battling an upper-body injury. [Sabres Edge]
  • Chris Butler and Nathan Gerbe expected to miss tonight’s contest.

Columbus Blue Jackets

  • Derek Dorsett and Rostislav Klesla remain out.

Colorado Avalanche

  • Milan Hejduk expected back in the lineup tonight. [All Things Avs]
  • That means David Jones, Ruslan Salei, Kyle Cumiskey and Marek Svatos still watch from the pressbox.

Washington Capitals

  • Shaone Morrisonn and John Erskine expected to miss tonight’s game.  [Tarik El-Bashir]
  • Quintin Laing probably in for Kyle Wilson. [Tarik El-Bashir]
  • Semyon Varlamov will not play.
  • Boyd Gordon considered healthy. [Corey Masisak]
  • No update on Brian Pothier, meaning he most likely is out.

Edmonton Oilers

  • Marc Pouliot, Nikolai Khabibulin, Mike Comrie, Ales Hemsky and Fernando Pisani out.
  • Dustin Penner, Tom Gilbert and Steve Staios not skating at practice.  Could be a maintenance day or indications they are not healthy enough to go tonight. [Dan Tencer]
