Injury Updates 12/11/2009

Carolina Hurricanes v Washington Capitals

This thread will be updated all day, so keep refreshing it as the day goes along. Just a quick note, if I omitted a source it is due to a previous report with no recent updates. Here are your injury updates for tonight:

Injuries Tonight

Florida Panthers

  • Gregory Campbell out with concussion-like symptoms.  David Booth still has not started skating.  Cory Stillman out for another couple of weeks. [On Frozen Pond]

New Jersey Devils

  • Bryce Salvador and Mike Mottau expected back in the lineup. [Fire & Ice]
  • David Clarkson, Paul Martin and Dainius Zubrus remain out.

Carolina Hurricanes

  • Eric Cole out two to three weeks. Chad LaRose expected to miss three to four weeks with a lower body injury. [Canes Now]

Washington Capitals

Anaheim Ducks

Michigan News - March 02, 2000

Detroit Red Wings

  • Tons of players out of the lineup: Niklas Kronwall, Jason Williams, Valtteri Filppula, Johan Franze, Daniel Cleary and Andreas Lilja all remain injured. []

Chicago Blackhawks

  • Adam Burish and Dave Bolland still out.

Buffalo Sabres

  • Paul Gaustad took part in non-contact drills.  Mike Grier expected back tomorrow night. [Sabres Edge]
  • No update on Chris Butler.

Edmonton Oilers

  • Denis Grebeshkov good to go. []
  • One of Sheldon Souray and Tom Gilbert will sit. [Dan Tencer]
  • No word on Nikolai Khabibulin.

St. Louis Blues

  • Eric Brewer remains out.

Tampa Bay Lightning

Colorado Avalanche

  • Craig Anderson back. Ruslan Salei out for several weeks following back surgery. [Denver Post]
  • Kyle Cumiskey walking around with a cast. [Adrian Dater]

Minnesota Wild

  • Petr Sykora, Andrew Ebbett, Pierre-Marc Bouchard and Brent Burns remain out with concussions.  Derek Boogaard expected to play. [Russo’s Rants]

Calgary Flames

  • No timetable on the return of Cory Sarich.
  • Craig Conroy ready to play. [Jamie Thomas]

Dallas Stars

San Jose Sharks

  • Brad Staubitz and Jody Shelley skated.  Douglas Murray could play against Dallas. [Working the Corners]
